Scottish Youth Theatre National Ensemble is a year’s commitment and is open to anyone who lives, works, studies or has family in Scotland. Auditions and membership of the Ensemble is free* and entry is based purely on ability.

  • Monthly development weekends led by top theatre practitioners taking place across Scotland
  • Be part of a flagship performance in August 2018, Scotland’s Year of Young People
  • Collaboration with other emerging theatre-makers from across Scotland
  • A fully accessible experience with support for any applicants who have a disability or who have additional requirements

Don’t let this stop you from auditioning. SYT has limited funds to help with this and will offer what support we can to those with the greatest financial barriers. We expect Ensemble participants to be motivated to raise funds for themselves too. You will be issued with a fundraising and sponsorship pack which signposts opportunities to apply for grants and gives  ideas for raising money.
