Starlight, Starbright is Scottish Youth Theatre’s festive show for 2016  

Starlight, Starbright tells the story of Peggy the Polar Bear who lives in the Arctic Circle. Tired of her chilly surroundings she sets off on a journey to find a warmer, cosier home.

As her travels take her from place to place, with only the Northern Star as her companion, will she find a new home or will her adventure reveal something much more exciting?

Starlight, Starbright is directed by Karen McGrady- Parker, Scottish Youth Theatre’s Associate Director. She states
¨As the show is aimed at 3 – 7 years we make it as interactive as possible to keep the little ones entertained and engaged. The wont just be watching the show – they will also be part of it¨.

The performance runs from Sat 3 December – Fri 30 December 2016 with a range of performance times.

Scottish Youth Theatre – 40 Years Young
Scottish Youth Theatre is celebrating 40 years of providing high quality opportunities for young people to engage in theatre arts practice. Since 1977, the company has moved venues, presented hundreds of successful productions and worked with thousands of young people, some of whom have gone on to achieve success on stage, behind the scenes and in film and television. They include Gerard Butler, Colin McCredie, Karen Gillan, Kirstie Steele and Andrew Still, to name but a few.
