Rip It Off Parent/Carer Consent

As a parent/carer of a child under the age of 18, we must seek additional permission from yourself to allow your child to participate in the project. Please complete the consent form below by 21:00 on Thursday 25 July, otherwise your child will be unable to attend and their place will be offered to a young person on the waiting list. If you have any questions about the form or the project, please get in touch with our Artistic Producer Annie on annie@scottishyouththeatre.org.

About the project

Taking classic stories as a springboard to create your own narratives, get ready to rip off and rewrite over a 2-day intensive devising project. Led by artist and director Sally Charlton, Rip It Off offers young theatre-makers based in Aberdeen and the North East an environment to explore contemporary themes through innovative adaptation and devising techniques.

Rip It Off will take place from 10:00 – 18:00 on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 August at His Majesty’s Theatre and The Lemon Tree.

Rip it Off is produced by Scottish Youth Theatre in partnership with Aberdeen Performing Arts and supported by The David & June Gordon Memorial Trust.
