Are you a creative person aged 14-19? Are you based in Scotland?
Do you want to make a positive difference in your community?
Scottish Youth Theatre's new lockdown project, QUARANTEEN, will give you with new artistic skills and techniques to manage your wellbeing and make a difference, in the context of this international crisis.
Working with our five lead artists over June and July 2020, participants will explore writing, visual art, design, protest, and more, building their skills and practices as creative activists. Our project partners Pure Potential Scotland will provide participants with resilience training, and will also offer bespoke 121 counselling with their highly-skilled mental health professionals.
More information on QUARANTEEN can be found here.
Please note that QUARANTEEN is a significant time commitment. In an average week, participants will attend online sessions on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and will also have a creative task to respond to in their own time. We hope that the majority of participants will be able to attend all sessions.
Application deadline 2nd June, 12 noon.
We will respond to all applicants by 3rd June, 5pm.
If you have any questions, please contact email@example.com.
Unfortunately there are a limited number of places for this project. Scottish Youth Theatre are committed to prioritising applicants who will most benefit from the support and mentorship at the heart of QUARANTEEN, at a time when many of us are facing challenges to our mental health.
