#MyCallToTheWorld

What is your #MyCallToTheWorld?

Date of Activity: September – November 2021
Location: Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, Perth
Age Range: 14-25

#MyCallToTheWorld was a public poster campaign, as part of Phone Call to the World, which gathered young people’s testimonies voicing what they want to change for the future of the world.

Through submitting an environmental ‘proposal for the future’, bespoke posters were generated for each participant, sharing their statement and the place they are making the call from. These statements were then displayed on digital billboards in various cities across Scotland before being archived in an accessible virtual gallery space online. During COP26, visitors of the Phone Call to the World Interactive Exhibition were invited to write their own statements and install them in the space for the remainder of the exhibition. Visit mycalltotheworld.online to read the statements and see if you can find your own #MyCallToTheWorld.

“I want to educate people about the impact of their actions and give advice on change, such as sustainable alternatives to single-use plastics.”
