Collecting Your Stories

Share your most inspirational, downright daft and heartwarming highlights

It’s time to hear from you again! As part of our efforts to expand the Scottish Youth Theatre archive alongside the 50th anniversary celebrations, we’re looking for some of your highlights and things you learned from your time with the company, alongside any memorabilia you’d be happy to document for us. We plan to then compile this wonderful material and present it as part of our year of celebrations; such as in a digital timeline, via newsletters, or as part of an exhibition of the company’s history.

You can share your stories and any media you have via the online form linked below. So go rake through those old memory boxes and hard drives gathering dust to see what you can come up with!

You can read a handy guidance document explaining how your data will be used and stored as part of this process here.

Please complete the form by 23:59 on Thursday 26 November.

As ever, we want to ensure as many people know about the upcoming celebrations as possible. If you know someone who was involved with the organisation in some capacity – be it a past participant, freelancer who worked with us or a former employee – please send this form their way! We look forward to hearing all your stories.

Scottish Youth Theatre is a charity, and, while we get some public subsidy, we need to raise just as much in other ways every year to deliver our projects. Support us with a small donation to reach more young artists in more places. Click this link to donate as little as £5.
