ARE YOU AT A CROSSROADS IN YOUR CREATIVE CAREER AND NEED SOME SUPPORT TO TAKE THE NEXT STEP?
What is coaching?
Coaching is structured time, designed to help you identify and work through the things that get in the way of your creative and professional development. By honing the resources and skillsets you already have, these sessions will help you understand where blockages occur, explore ways to resolve them and give you confidence to change that in the future.
Maybe you’re at a crossroads in your creative career and feeling unsure about the next step. Perhaps you notice waves of inspiration that lose momentum, or project dynamics that don’t quite work for you. You know something needs to shift, but you’re not sure how.
Coaching is an opportunity to think aloud, unearth the issues, discuss strategies and discover the solutions. It’s about talking it through to find the way through. You have the answers, you just don’t know it yet!
What’s the offer?
Scottish Youth Theatre’s Chief Executive, Jacky Hardacre, is an Accredited Relational Dynamic coach and has worked with a range of people in different roles in the arts and cultural sector to support them in realising their potential.
A coaching block with Jacky offers:
- An introductory conversation to set the scene
- Up to 3 free coaching sessions, each lasting 60 – 90 minutes
- A supported space to reflect on your situation/areas of need
- An opportunity to understand yourself better and be (re)inspired!
What do I do next?
For now, there is space for 5 individuals to access these sessions.
If you’re an emerging or early-career theatre-maker, aged 18-28, who thinks this is the support you need to progress in your career journey, please get in touch with jacky@scottishyouththeatre.org with your name, postcode and a response to “why you think coaching is right for you at this point in your journey?”.
Alternatively, if you’re unsure if coaching is the right thing for you, email Jacky to schedule a quick chat about it and to understand a little more about the process.
