A MOVEMENT and performance masterclass with EILIDH LOAN
Date of Activity: June 2024
Location: Glasgow
Age Range: 17-25
EVER WONDERED WHERE TO BEGIN WITH MOVEMENT?
Exploring the potential of movement, Movement Fundamentals was a dynamic and accessible one-day workshop led by leading actor, writer and director Eilidh Loan. Moving is a key part of performing, but it can feel daunting to know where to start. In this workshop, Eilidh took participants through her practice; exploring how to create characters, unpack text through physicality and use simple movement tools to unlock new layers to performance.
In a lively, safe and friendly environment, participants explored how to bring text and characters to life and discover what role movement can play in their acting toolkit.
